Paris Saint-Germain has now reached game five of the Mauricio Pochettino era. The club has picked up three wins and one draw so far, including with the triumph in the Trophee des Champions final against Olympique de Marseille.

PSG currently stands at first place in the league table following its win over Angers. But with PSG tied in points with Lille OSC and two points above third-place Olympique Lyonnais, the club can not afford to drop points in key matches this season.

Here is how PSG is lining up against Montpellier.

Keylor Navas takes the start for PSG out at goalkeeper. He currently ranks second in Ligue 1 clean sheets with 10 this season.

PSG has regularly shuffled its backline due to injuries this season. But the one continual rock at its defensive line has been Marquinhos, who earns a start for this match. Fresh off of his game-winning goal against Angers, Layvin Kurzawa also starts for the club at the left-back position.

Ander Herrera has been a regular for PSG in the new Pochettino era. But due to a slight precaution, he is out for this matchup. Thus, Marco Verratti and Leandro Paredes will lead PSG’s double-pivot setup.

Upfront, PSG is rolling with Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria to once again slot out wide as the wingers in the team’s 4-2-3-1 setup. More so, Neymar will hover the space in behind striker Mauro Icardi for this matchup.

PSG handily defeated Montpellier by a 3-1 final score earlier this season and could use another strong result for this particular match.
