Lille have announced the signing of Gil Vicente’s Portuguese winger Félix Correia (24). Lille OSC will reportedly pay the Liga Portugal side a €7m transfer fee. Correia has signed a four-year deal with Les Dogues. The former Portugal U19 international is set to be Lille’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window after Marius Broholm, Arnaud Bodart and Olivier Giroud.
Lille were in the market for a left-winger to bring competition to Osame Sarhaoui, considering the departing Edon Zhegrova has been effectively replaced by Broholm. Correia logged ten goals and four assists in 37 games in the last campaign. The former Portugal U19 international will wear the No. 27 jersey with Lille. Les Dogues have qualified for next season’s Europa League campaign.
