Strasbourg president Marc Keller paid tribute to his now-former player and sincerely thanked him for his contribution to the club. “He’s a skilled football player, an exemplary, humble and hard-working man. He’s perfectly in line with the club’s values, for which he always gave his all. Everyone here wishes him the best for his career.“
Adrien Thomasson explained that it was time for him to move on, despite having received a two-year extension proposal from Strasbourg’s management. He commended his club for allowing him to improve as a football player and grow as a man, and pointed out that RC Strasbourg will keep a special place in his heart. “I’d like to thank the president, the executives, my teammates, my coaches, the staff and the supporters – I’ll never forget that.“
