Lazio have officially sent youngster Romano Floriani Mussolini to Serie B Juve Stabia out on a loan deal that could become a definitive transfer.
The 21-year-old Italian right-back initially developed in the Giallorossi youth system before switching sides in Rome and heading over to the Biancocelesti in July 2016. Due to his surname and family heritage, the move was met with some amusement and controversy from onlookers.

Floriani Mussolini worked up the ranks with Lazio over the last few years and spent time on loan with Pescara in the 2023-24 season, where he provided two assists in 2419 minutes of action across 32 matches, showing some positive signs.
As confirmed by the club, Lazio have now sent Floriani Mussolini to Serie B outfit Juve Stabia on a loan deal with a buy option attached, giving him the chance to continue his development and take a step forward in his career.
The 21-year-old has never made a first-team appearance for the Biancocelesti and seems unlikely to find a place in Marco Baroni’s squad in the near future.
