Lazio winger Emanuele Cicerelli has joined Sere B side Frosinone on loan.

As announced in an official statement last night, the 27-year-old Italian winger has joined the Serie B side on a season-long dry loan, where he’ll be looking to impress this season.

Cicerelli spent last season on loan with Salernitana, where he made 29 Serie B appearances for a total of 1147 minutes. In that time, he scored two goals and provided three assists.

The 27-year-old Cicerelli, who is contracted to the club until 2023, joined Lazio last year from Salernitana and immediately returned to the club on loan. He has never made a first team appearance for the Biancocelesti and is unlikely to play a role for the Roman club in the future.

Cicerelli’s time on loan with Frosinone this season will be a good chance for the Italian winger to show his qualities as he looks for a new permanent home.
