Signing Matteo Cancellieri permanently would cost Lazio around €7 million plus €1.5 million in add-ons and many fans are now excited to see what he can do in the Italian capital. He has already put pen to paper on a five-year deal worth €850,000 net per season.
Maurizio Sarri is now debating where to deploy the 20-year-old forward, and Corriere dello Sport details how he’ll likely be used as backup for Felipe Anderson initially whilst Sarri takes the time to evaluate his capabilities as a centre forward.
Last season, Cancellieri scored two goals and provided one assist in 14 appearances across all competitions for Hellas Verona.
