As announced by Lazio, Luis Maximiano has officially arrived on a definitive transfer from Granada, signing a four-year contract that ties him to the club until 2026.

Reports indicate that Lazio paid Granada €7 million plus €3 million in easily achievable add-ons for the 23-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper. His wages have not been clearly reported at this time.

Maximiano will now become the Biancocelesti’s first choice shot stopper and he’ll be hoping to adapt as much as possible to Sarri’s system at the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore. He is known for his strong shot stopping ability and his comfort having the ball at his feet.
