Lazio made one final transfer move on deadline day. The Biancocelesti announced that it agreed to send center-back Denis Vavro to La Liga side Huesca for a half-season loan move.
The agreement between the two sides does not come with a purchase option, so Vavro will be returning to Lazio at the end of the season.
Vavro had only totaled for two appearances in all competitions with Lazio this season, including in the recent Coppa Italia Round of 16 bout against Parma where he made a one-minute cameo.
Vavro will be joining a Huesca side that currently stands last in the league standings coupled with its 30 goals allowed in 21 fixtures so far this season. Thus, Vavro could be of great use for a Spanish side that is in need of any defensive reinforcements at the moment.
Vavro has a contract with Lazio up until 2024, so this half-season loan stint could provide him with an excellent opportunity to prove his worth to the Biancocelesti.
