Juventus have officially announced the signing of Khéphren Thuram (23) on a five-year contract from OGC Nice in a deal that is thought to have earned the French side €20 million, plus around €5 million in add-ons.
It will be a homecoming of sorts for Thuram as he returns to the nation where he was born, to play at the same club that his father Lilian once represented from 2001 until 2006. Khéphren during his five-year stay at Nice became a French international earning his first and only selection for the national team in March 2023 when he was picked to play against the Netherlands.
Thuram’s potential has never been in doubt during his time in France but he will be hoping to develop his profile further under the tutelage of Thiago Motta, a manager who has quickly earned his place as one of the most exciting figures on the touchlines in European football.
