Juventus have officially purchased Francisco Martin Barido from Boca Juniors, signing him to a contract until June 2026, nicknamed the ‘New Paulo Dybala.’

He only turned 16 on January 1 and will go straight into the Juventus youth academy.

The Argentina Under-15 international plays as a creative midfielder behind the strikers, is left-footed and also has Croatian citizenship.

He has been nicknamed the ‘New Paulo Dybala’ in Argentina and had already been linked with Barcelona for several years, but Juventus got the deal done.

Juve had already deposited his contract in January and were able to sign him so young because his parents already work in Italy.

The club also picked up Pedro Felipe de Jesus Gomes from Palmeiras, on loan until June 2024.
