Juan Jesus has officially signed a new contract to stay at Napoli for one more season after he helped them win the Scudetto.
The defender will turn 34 next month and his current deal was due to expire on June 30.
The club had an option to extend that deal and has now formally activated it, as confirmed by a statement on the Napoli website.
It means he will remain with the squad for the 2025-26 campaign.

Juan Jesus joined the Partenopei as a free agent from Roma in the summer of 2021 and he made 17 competitive appearances this season, contributing one goal and one assist.
The Brazilian spent practically his entire career in Italy, first arriving from Internacional for Inter in January 2012, moving on through Roma and then Napoli.
His confirmation follows news that Antonio Conte is also staying on after winning the Serie A title in his debut season at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
