As The Athletic explain, Terry has made a huge difference at Villa, especially to their defensive setup and helping stop their leaky back line.

They say that he has stepped away from the role in order to take up his first managerial role, although there is no indication of where that might be right now.

West Brom and Bristol City are mentioned as linked clubs, however there are other clubs around looking for managers so the rumours will now begin.

Will he be considered for a Chelsea role? Absolutely, one day for sure, as the report from The Athletic reiterates, Terry said that he end goal is always Chelsea, he wants to manage Chelsea one day.
