Just a while ago, FC Barcelona officially confirmed the signing of Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid.
The 23-year-old secures his dream move to Barça but only on a season-long loan deal with no purchase option included in the operation.
One of the most gifted young footballers in Europe not very long ago, things have not gone Felix’s way in recent times.
But he will be hoping to get things back on track and succeed at his dream club Barcelona during the 2023/24 season.
With the transfer done and the player registered with La Liga, Felix has also been handed his shirt number at Barcelona.

While there were some speculations that the Portuguese international could take the No. 10 vacated by Ansu Fati’s loan exit on the deadline day, the player has been handed the No. 14 shirt by the Catalans.
The kit has previously been worn by club legends like Thierry Henry and Javier Mascherano, while flops such as Philippe Coutinho and Malcom have also previously donned the No. 14 kit.
The most recipient owner of the #14 shirt was Memphis Depay, and the kit number has been vacant since his departure in January.
Felix will be hoping to fare better than some of his recent predecessors who have worn the #14 kit.
