Ex-Real Madrid and Everton star James Rodríguez is available for transfer as a free agent this month.
As much comes after the Colombian icon came to an agreement with La Liga outfit Rayo Vallecano, to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
Midfielder James of course secured a return to Spain over the summer, putting pen to paper on terms at Vallecas.
His ensuing time in Rayo colours, however, proved to be something of a disaster, the 33-year-old having been afforded a grand total of one La Liga start across the campaign to date.
Negotiations over an immediate parting of ways, in turn, were recently opened between the two parties.
And, as alluded to above, on Monday afternoon, such talks have borne fruit.
As per a report on the part of transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Confirmed: James Rodríguez is now available as a free agent, contract terminated at Rayo Vallecano.’
