Milan’s in-demand midfielder Ismael Bennacer has now put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the Rossoneri.
Chelsea and Manchester United were linked with the midfielder over the last few weeks and at one point, a renewal seemed like a complex task for the Rossoneri, who have already lost Franck Kessie, Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma on free transfers.
Milan have now confirmed that Bennacer has now signed a new deal till the summer of 2027 and the it has been reported that the Algerian will earn in the region of €4 million per season, which is a significant upgrade on what he was earning in his previous deal at the club.
While there is a release clause in his contract which is valued at €50 million, it will only be active from 2024, as per Sky Italia15 days of the summer transfer window.
