Serie A’s governing body Lega Serie A have announced Inter’s official squad list for the first half of the 2019/20 Serie A campaign.
Inter have registered 20 players, five of which meet Serie A’s homegrown requirements of having either came through an Italian academy or through Inter’s academy.
The Nerazzurri’s squad is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Samir Handanovic, Daniele Padelli, Tomasso Berni
Defenders: Milan Skriniar, Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D’Ambrosio
Midfielders: Matias Vecino, Stefano Sensi, Kwadwo Asamoah, Valentino Lazaro, Borja Valero, Marcelo Brozovic, Roberto Gagliardini, Antonio Candreva
Attackers: Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Matteo Politano
Players born in or after the year 1997 do not have to be registered to play in any Serie A match. This applies to the following players currently in Inter’s first team.
Lautaro Martinez, Federico Dimarco, Alessandro Bastoni, Lorenzo Pirola, Nicolo Barella, Lucien Agoume, Sebastiano Esposito.
This rule also means that Primavera players can be freely called up if so required.
