Inter have confirmed that Alexis Sanchez will travel to Barcelona to see a specialist to see whether or not his injury will require surgery.
The Chilean sustained an ankle injury during Chile’s goalless international friendly with fellow South American side Colombia and tests conducted this afternoon by Inter’s medical staff have confirmed a dislocation of the long peroneal tendon in the attacker’s left ankle.

The 30-year-old, who joined in the Summer from Manchester United, will be in Barcelona tomorrow and will meet with Professor Ramon Cugat.
