The Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus over the weekend was an ill-tempered affair as is often the case for the fixture.

The controversial incident surrounding the Bianconeri’s first-half goal which Inter felt came after a handball in the buildup saw the tensions rise, and some Nerazzurri players’ tempers flared up towards the second half.

There was a scuffle between both sets of player in the dying seconds of the match, and in the midst of it D’Ambrosio and Paredes got into a physical altercation, which saw the Inter player given a two-match ban, and the Juventus player a ban of one match in the league.
