Major League Soccer team Inter Miami have tonight announced the signing of French forward Corentin Jean on a permanent deal from Lens, on a deal to the end of the 2024 season with an option for two additional years.
L’Équipe had reported in their issue today that the former French youth international would be moving for a fee of €1.2m, as he leaves the Sang et Or after two and a half years at the club.
He has seven goals in 54 appearances for Franck Haise’s team, and netted once this season in 17 appearances during an injury-blighted season. That goal nevertheless came at the Parc des Princes as he netted a late equaliser to earn his side a point against Paris Saint-Germain.
The striker, who can also play out wide, started out his career with formative club Troyes, and has also turned out for Monaco – with whom he won the Ligue 1 title – and Toulouse.
