Official – Inter Duo Robin Gosens & Joaquin Correa Change Squad Numbers Ahead Of New Season | OneFootball

Inter wingback Robin Gosens and forward Joaquin Correa have both changed their squad numbers ahead of the upcoming season.

This is confirmed by an announcement on the Nerazzurri’s official site, which states that Gosens will wear Number 8 on the back of his shirt from the start of next campaign, whilst Correa will take the 11 shirt.

Correa joined Inter from Lazio last summer, where the 27-year-old took the Number 19 shirt, whilst Gosens was signed from Atalanta during the January transfer window and took the 18 shirt.

Last season, Matias Vecino had the number 8 in the Nerazzurri’s squad, whilst Aleksandar Kolarov had the number 11, but both of those players have departed from the club at the end of their contracts this summer.

Both Gosens and Correa will wear the shirt numbers that they had worn during their time with Atalanta and Lazio respectively now that the numbers are no longer occupied within the squad.
