Iliman Ndiaye (24) has completed a return to England, joining Everton from Olympique de Marseille, just one year after joining his boyhood club from Sheffield United.
Having got Sheffield United promoted to the Premier League in the 2022/23 season, Ndiaye left England to join Marseille in a €20m deal. However, amid the turmoil at the club, he struggled to find his feet at the Vélodrome, scoring just four goals and registering three assists in 46 appearances in all competitions.
He has now left OM, as confirmed by the club, signing a five-year deal with Premier League side Everton for an undisclosed fee. Fabrizio Romano understands that the deal is worth around €18.5m plus €1.5m in add-ons, meaning that, should those add-ons come through, OM won’t make a loss on the Senegal international. Everton, who showed significant interest in signing Ndiaye back in the winter transfer window, now have their man.
