And the 17-year-old can now add another accolade to his already burgeoning collection, after his stunning semi-final strike against France was officially named the EURO 2024 Goal of the Tournament.

Yamal’s goal was selected by UEFA’s technical observers as the best of them all, with Jude Bellingham’s beautiful bicycle kick for England against Slovakia coming second on the 10-goal shortlist.
