Bologna have confirmed the signing of English winger Jonathan Rowe from Olympique Marseille.

Serie A side Bologna confirmed the signing of 22-year-old winger Rowe on Sunday morning.

It’s a permanent transfer which, according to Sky Sport Italia, is worth €19.5m.

Bologna described Rowe as a ‘versatile’ player who can play on both flanks.

The 22-year-old won the U21 Euros with the England national team this summer.

The Englishman moved to the Stadio Dall’Ara after an ugly row with his former Marseille teammate Adrien Rabiot, which prompted the French club to freeze out both players.

Bologna made their 2025-26 Serie A debut against Roma on Saturday, losing 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Rossoblu sold Dan Ndoye and Sam Beukema this summer, but signed Martin Vitik, Nadir Zortea, Torbjorn Heggem, Federico Bernardeschi and Ciro Immobile.

Rowe, a product of the AFC Wembley and Norwich City academies, provided one assist in 13 Premier League matches before joining Marseille last summer.
