FC Barcelona have bid goodbye to another young talent from the reserve ranks as Noah Darvich has signed for VfB Stuttgart in Germany.

Considering that his contract with the Blaugrana was set to expire in 2026, Darvich has been allowed to leave in exchange for a percentage of future sale while Barça also retain a right of first refusal for the German ace.

“FC Barcelona and VfB Stuttgart have reached an agreement for the transfer of Noah Darvich. The club retains a percentage of any future sale of the German midfielder and a right of first refusal,” the statement from the club read.

“The Club wishes him much luck and success in the future, both personally and professionally.”

Darvich signed for Barcelona in the summer of 2023, arriving from SC Freiburg, where he was a standout performer in youth football.

However, the teenage attacking midfielder had some adaptation problems at Barça initially. Even though there were glimpses of his potential, he never really flourished at the Catalan club.

Now, Darvich returns to Germany hoping to kickstart his professional career with Stuttgart. The youngster did not make a single first-team appearance for Barcelona despite being called up to train by Hansi Flick. He featured 27 times for Barça Atletic.
