Serie A’s Como seem to be in a period of transition. Under Cesc Fabregas’ leadership and with some exciting signings like Nico Paz and Sergi Roberto, the club are building something very interesting in Northern Italy.
This trend doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon, as the club have announced this afternoon the signing of Barcelona youngster Álex Valle.
The 20-year-old defender joins the club after having spent the first half of the season on loan at Scottish champions Celtic, but Barcelona believe he will get more playing time at the Italian side.
Valle joins until the end of the season, but there is no buy option included in his contract, so he will be returning to his parent club Barcelona come the end of the season.
The move is a win-win for both parties; Barcelona get more game time for their young prospect while Como get an exciting player with the potential to help in their bid to stay in Serie A.
Barcelona fans will be keeping a keen eye on Como to see how their young star gets on.
