FC Barcelona arrive at their final league game before the start of the upcoming international break. La Blaugrana will want to take all three points as well from this game, something they have managed consistently so far. However, a fourth win in a row for Barcelona could improve their momentum even further.

That is why, after resting a few players in the previous game, Hansi Flick was expected to field a strong lineup for this encounter against Real Valladolid at the Montjuic Stadium. As expected, that is exactly what he has done in order to ensure the win goes to Barcelona as per the official lineup.

In goal, as always, it will be Marc-Andre Ter Stegen who will be starting for La Blaugrana. The German goalkeeper and club captain still aims to get a clean sheet this season and he will be hoping to finally get one against a Real Valladolid side that has struggled to score goals this season.

Ahead of him, in the heart of the defense yet again, Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez form the partnership once more. Both the Spaniards will be hoping to help Ter Stegen keep a clean sheet despite their efforts to do so having been not quite successful thus far.

After having been rested in the previous game, Alejandro Balde returns to the left-back position to help out Hansi Flick’s Barcelona. On the other flank of the defense, Jules Kounde returns to his position as the right-back of the team and will hope to help out his side both offensively and defensively.

In the midfield, however, arrives the big change that many were speculating about. With Marc Bernal now injured, Barcelona will look to field Pedri and Marc Casado together. The latter will be hoping to put in a good shift to showcase that he has what it takes to replace Bernal in this team.

Ahead of them, Dani Olmo finally gets to start alongside the other forwards in the team. He is joined by the wondrous talents of Lamine Yamal, the relentless efforts of Raphinha, and the proven striking qualities of Robert Lewandowski. Following a great debut in the previous game, this is Olmo’s chance to shine once more.
