FC Barcelona are now set to take on Real Betis in La Liga, and kick-off is now fast approaching. Both teams come into this game with great form, and they will be aiming for victory. However, at the Montjuic Stadium, Barcelona will definitely be backing themselves to get the win.

Yet, given the quality of the opposition, Hansi Flick had to make sure that he fielded a strong starting eleven for this game. With this now being a chance to go six points clear at the top of the La Liga table, Barcelona can not afford to drop any points.

Here is the official starting eleven for Barcelona against Real Betis.

Wojciech Szczesny starts as the team’s man between the sticks, and he will be hoping to continue his fine form for Barcelona. He continues to have Hansi Flick’s full trust, and the Pole is yet to let Barcelona down whenever he starts for the team.

Over in the defense, with Inigo Martinez sidelined for this game, Hansi Flick still managed to field a strong centre-back partnership. Pau Cubarsi and Ronald Araujo start together, and they will look to keep Real Betis at bay.

On their flanks, Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde start as the two full-backs. Both of them will be expected to help out in terms of both offensive duties and defensive duties as well.

Ahead of them, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong start as the two defensive midfielders. They will be tasked with creating chances for the team while also keeping the structure intact as they look to minimize the control that the opposition has on the game as well.

On the wings, Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres will be the two starters for Barcelona. Both of them are a massive threat for the opposition, and they will be helped by Gavi, who starts as the team’s primary central attacking midfielder.

Lastly, up top, Robert Lewandowski starts as the team’s primary centre-forward. He will need to be sharp in front of goal to make sure that he converts his chances and delivers good hold-up play whenever necessary.
