Ronald Koeman has selected the 11 men that will lock horns against Atletico Madrid in the La Liga gameweek 35. With a potential title-decider on the cards, there is no scope of any mistakes and all eyes rest on the backline of Gerard Pique, Oscar Mingueza, and Clement Lenglet. Ronald Araujo has been benched after a mixed outing against Valencia. Marc-Andre ter Stegen holds the fort in the six-yard box.

Jordi Alba starts on the left flank as the left-wingback, while Sergino Dest takes the responsibility of flanking the midfield from the right side. The trio of Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, and Sergio Busquets rests between the wingbacks, hoping to win the midfield battle against the brilliant Marcos Llorente, Thomas Lemar, and Koke.

The lineup is rounded off with former Atletico Madrid sensation Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi as the front-two, who made the difference vs Valencia. The duo will be hoping to replicate much of the same as they take on the La Liga leaders.

Confirmed XI: ter Stegen; Mingueza, Pique, Lenglet; Dest, de Jong, Busquets, Pedri, Alba; Messi, Griezmann

Koeman claimed that this game will be important, but not decisive in the grand scheme of things in the league. But, as it stands, this looks like the game that will decide the outcome of the league, for either Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, or Real Madrid. Vamos!
