FC Barcelona will return to action after the international break in a little over an hour as they take on CA Osasuna in Montjuic in their rescheduled La Liga encounter.

Given the exertion of players in international matches as well as the short turnaround between tonight’s game and the one against Girona on Sunday, it was always interesting to see the kind of lineup Hansi Flick would be naming.

And, there are some interesting decisions made by the Barcelona manager as he has opted to rest Robert Lewandowski from the team.

Instead, it appears like Dani Olmo will be playing as the false-nine in attack for the hosts, supported by Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres, with the latter replacing Raphinha, who is rested after his late arrival from South America.

Meanwhile, Gavi occupies the central attacking midfield slot for the Catalan giants whereas Pedri and Frenkie de Jong form the double pivot in the centre of the park.

As for the defence, Inigo Martinez, fully recovered from the knee injury he suffered vs. Atletico Madrid, starts at centre-back alongside Eric Garcia. Both Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsi are on the bench.

Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde line up as the full-backs while Wojciech Szczesny continues in goal.
