The Copa del Rey quarter-final kicks off at Camp Nou as Barcelona get ready to host Real Sociedad. The Catalans, along with La Real are two of the most inform teams in the country, and this clash promises a ton of excitement even for neutrals.
Xavi has made three changes to the team that came back with a 1-0 win against Getafe in La Liga on the weekend.
Robert Lewandowski returns to the team after serving his suspension in La Liga. The Polish forward played the entire 90 minutes against AD Ceuta, scoring a brace, and will hope to guide his team to a win today.
He is partnered by Ousmane Dembele on the right-wing, with Gavi starting on the left-wing as an auxiliary midfielder.
The midfield trident, meanwhile, featured Pedri in an advanced midfield role along with Frenkie de Jong, who was rested in the league. Sergio Busquets anchors these two sitting in defensive midfield.
Much like FdJ, Ronald Araujo gets the nod in central defence, coming back after two games of rest. Andreas Christensen picked up a knock vs Getafe, but has been deemed fit enough for this game.
These two will be flanked by Jules Kounde on the right side and Alejandro Balde on the left, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen guards the goal.
Confirmed Barça XI: ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Christensen, Balde; Pedri, Busquets, de Jong; Dembele, Lewandowski, Gavi
