As is tradition, Barcelona will celebrate the Joan Gamper Trophy today as part of their last pre-season fixture before the official season kicks off. They will take on Pumas UNAM for the encounter, who have Blaugrana legend Dani Alves in their side.

Xavi has trimmed down the 31-man squad to 11 ahead of the game, starring none other than Robert Lewandowski as the striker. He is aided by a winger on either side in the form of Raphinha on the right, and Ousmane Dembele on the left.

In midfield, Pedri retains his starting spot, while Gavi comes in on the right side of the trident. These two very talented midfielders will be flanking captain Sergio Busquets as he heads into what could be his last season wearing the garnet and blue.

Busi will be screening what looks like a back-four, headlined by Ronald Araujo in the heart of the defence. He is partnering Eric Garcia, while Sergi Roberto takes care of duties on the right.

The final two pieces in the puzzle are Alejandro Balde as the left-back, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen dawns the gloves.

Confirmed Barcelona XI: ter Stegen; Roberto, Araujo, Garcia, Balde; Gavi, Busquets, Pedri; Raphinha, Lewandowski, Dembele
