Barcelona have officially announced their starting lineup as they take on Celta Vigo at Balaidos this evening.
Gavi makes his first start in over a year, as it was widely reported in the Spanish media today. The midfielder, though, may not play prominently and could be taken off minutes into the second half.
Gerard Martin also starts at left-back amid Alejandro Balde’s fitness woes while Inaki Pena continues in goal.
These are two noticeable changes in the starting eleven, with Hansi Flick retaining the core of the setup.
There are a few interesting picks from the bench, though, including youngster Noah Darvich and the two defenders, Alvaro Cortes and Sergi Dominguez.
Guille Fernandez is also a part of the team and could make an appearance if Barcelona stand in a good position in the second half.
Robert Lewandowski, meanwhile, is set to lead the frontline despite fitness woes. Pau Victor is an option on the bench should the Pole fail to feature through ninety minutes.
Fermin Lopez is another option in attack and could replace Gavi later in the second half.
