Official: Barcelona sign Abdul Aziz Issah | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have this week added to the club’s youth setup courtesy of an exciting new signing.

The player in question? Abdul Aziz Issah.

For those who may have missed it, the name of youngster Aziz Issah has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last week.

This comes after word, first, was forthcoming that Barcelona were ready to afford a trial period to the attacking midfielder.

Aziz Issah has long been held in high regard in his home country of Ghana, already a regular in the Black Stars’ U20 setup.

His exploits both at international level, and club level with Dreams FC, had piqued the attentions of not only the Blaugrana brass, but a number of other clubs from across Europe, too, including Newcastle United.

As alluded to above, though, this week, it is Barca who have officially beaten out the competition to the attacker’s signature.

This comes with Dreams FC having announced Aziz Issah’s Camp Nou switch in a statement across their social media channels:

‘Dreams FC announces the transfer of Abdul Aziz Issah to Spanish giants FC Barcelona. The 18-year-old finalised his transfer on transfer deadline day.’

The 18-year-old is now expected to link up with Albert Sánchez’s Barca Atlètic.
