Barcelona will don their third kit when they travel to Valencia to take on Levtante as part of their La Liga matchday 36. Their previous outing, hosting Atletico Madrid, at home, did not go as plan as the game ended in a goalless stalemate. However, Real Madrid’s draw against Sevilla is bound to give them some hope.

Ronald Koeman has called up 23 players that will make the trip to Estadi Cuitat de Valencia, and to the rejoice of Barcelona fans, Sergio Busquets has been called up. The Spaniard had to be subbed off in the first half against Diego Simeone’s men after picking up a face injury. Ilaix Moriba was brought on in his place, but turned out to be ineffective.

There are no surprise exclusions of inclusions in the team, as Ansu Fati and Philippe Coutinho continue to be sidelined due to a long-term injury. Konrad de la Fuente has not received the call-up as well, while Ilaix Moriba continues to take-part in Koeman’s setups.

Full list: ter Stegen, Neto, Tenas; Dest, Roberto, Mingueza, Pique, Araujo, Lenglet, Umtiti, Alba, Firpo; Busquets, Ilaix, de Jong, Pedri, Puig, Pjanic; Dembele, Messi, Trincão, Griezmann, Braithwaite

Absentees: Ansu Fati (knee), Phillipe Coutinho (knee), Matheus

La Liga has been proven to be mayhem in the last few weeks, and the game against Levante could be Barcelona’s chance to go top of the table for the first time this season, albeit temporarily. It would, however, put a lot of pressure on Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, both of whom go into their duels after the Blaugranas.
