Gersbach joins Colorado after spending most of his career in Europe. The 25-year-old left-back joined Grenoble in 2021 from Danish team Aarhus. He also featured for Norwegian outfit Rosenborg, for RC Lens as well as Dutch club NAC Breda. Gersbach played 45 games across all competitions since his arrival in Grenoble, currently seventh-placed in Ligue 2 standings. He was not part of the GF38 squad that lost at home against Bastia this Saturday., with the Grenoble hierarchy were already ready for his departure following the arrival on a free transfer last week of Senegalese free agent Arial Mendy (28).
