Official – Atalanta’s Robin Gosens Completes Transfer To Inter | OneFootball

Inter have completed the signing of German international wingback Robin Gosens from Serie A rivals Atalanta.

The Nerazzurri released a statement on their homepage confirming that the former Vitesse player joins Inter on a loan with an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.

The statement made no mention of the transfer fee involved but it has been widely reported that the deal is worth around €25 million, with add-ons included.

There was also no mention of the duration of the contract or his wages either, but it has been widely reported that he has signed a 4.5 year contract where he will earn €2.5 million net per season excluding add-ons.

Robin Gosens becomes the first German to sign for Inter since Lukas Podolski, who joined on loan from Arsenal for six months back in January 2015.

The former Heracles player becomes the ninth German player to play for Inter after Horst Szymaniak, Hansi Müller, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Lothar Matthäus, Jürgen Klinsmann, Matthias Sammer, Andreas Brehme and the aforementioned Lukas Podolski.

Gosens joined Atalanta in the summer of 2017 from Dutch side Heracles and has since then featured 157 times for La Dea across all competitions scoring 29 goals in the process.
