Ceramica Cleopatra've officially announced the signing of Egyptian international Amr El Solia on free transfer from Al Ahly bringing end to one of the most successful midfield careers in the Red Castle's recent history.

New Challenge After Ahly Exit

The 36 year old veteran sealed his move during the 2025 summer transfer window joining Ceramica after his contract with Al Ahly expired.

The club confirmed the deal through post on their official Facebook page describing El Solia as the "maestro" and hailing his arrival with the message: "El Rabona in the presence of knights"

End of Historic Ahly Era

Al Ahly'd earlier announced El Solia’s departure marking the end of remarkable run that began in 2016 when he arrived from Al Shaab UAE. Over nearly decade, he lifted 23 major titles becoming a key figure in one of Ahly’s most dominant eras.
