Alioune Ndoye has officially joined Vitoria SC this Monday, August 4, 2025. The 23-year-old Senegalese forward leaves FK Valmiera in Latvia for good to sign with the Portuguese Primeira Liga club until 2029.
After five years in Latvia and a loan spell in Switzerland last season, Alioune Ndoye is moving on to the Portuguese league. Vitoria SC has completed negotiations with FK Valmiera to secure the services of the Senegalese striker in a permanent transfer. The former Teungueth FC player now arrives in Liga Portugal, where he will wear the number 90 shirt for the Guimaraes-based club.
"I’m aware that I’ll be playing in one of Europe’s top leagues. The Portuguese league is very competitive and highly visible. It features great matches, and I really like that. It’s a dream to play in Portugal, especially for Vitória SC. I just want to work hard to prove my worth and keep improving as a player," Alioune Ndoye said after signing his contract.
The Rufisque native brings solid European experience to his new team. After starting his career in Senegal with Teungueth FC, the 1.91m-tall striker moved to Latvia in 2020 to play for Valmiera. In five seasons in the Latvian league, he played 99 official matches and scored 44 goals.
