Aleksandr Golovin (28) has seen his contract at AS Monaco extended until the summer of 2029, the Principality club confirmed on Friday.
Golovin only extended his deal with Les Monégasques just over one year ago in February 2023. That deal was set to expire in 2026, so at the end of next season. However, Monaco have extended the Russia international’s deal once again, this time for a further three years.
Having arrived from CSKA Moscow in 2018, Golovin is now the longest-serving player at the Principality club. He has now made 209 appearances for Monaco, during which time he has scored 31 goals and registered 39 assists. In the last 18 months, he has sown his best form since joining the club. Last season, he registered six goals and six assists in Ligue 1.
The Russian playmaker has featured six times for Monaco, currently second in Ligue 1, in all competitions this season.
