Odriozola: "We want to win the LaLiga title and we have to keep this up" | OneFootball

Real Madrid thrashed Cádiz at the Ramón de Carranza and scorer of the second goal, Odriozola, assessed the performance: “We came here to win and that was clear from the off. Things went our way and it was a brilliant victory and a clean sheet. There's barely a month of the season left, we're Real Madrid and we have to show we want to win the LaLiga title. We have to keep this up".

“Behind every player is a vast amount of hard work and it's been a tough season in my case with the injuries, I've spent more than half the campaign on the side-lines. It's really tough to get back in shape and find the confidence to play at your best. You have to be at 200% in every game here and produce your best performances, it's difficult sometimes. I scored today and played well so it feels fantastic, I'm really happy".

Attacking intent “From the start, the coach's plan was always for Marcelo and I to get forward so we could show off our best qualities". “Playing with three centre-backs and two wing-backs allows you to be higher up when pressing and going forward. The coach's approach was perfect. We'll carry on in this vein".

Marcelo: “We're on the right track” “We went out there with the hunger to put in a good performance and win the game. The team flew out the blocks, pressing high and stealing the ball back well. That was one of our key tactics for the game. We know there are no easy games in LaLiga. Today might not have seemed as tough as other matches but we played really well".

“We work really hard. We have to make sure we are focussed in every minute of the game. We know what we have to do in each game and it’s working well, we’re on the right track.
