Ødegaard removed from Arsenal friendly lineup after warmup injury

Arsenal’s preseason is off to a bumpy start, as star midfielder Martin Ødegaard was removed from the Gunners’ lineup after a knock in the warmup.

The north London outfit are in Germany to take on FC Nürnberg, and Mikel Arteta picked a strong starting XI to get their friendly campaign underway.

Thomas Partey, Bukayo Saka, Ben White among other stars were picked by the Arsenal boss, but the lineup was severely weakened by Ødegaard’s injury.

There is no report yet on how serious the Norwegian’s knock is up to this point.
