October is set to be an intense and crucial month for our teams. The schedule has brought about a hectic period of games, especially for the Men's First Team and Coach Abate's Primavera squad, with eight and nine matches, respectively, before the World Cup stop in November and December. Pioli's side will kick off the crammed set of fixtures this evening against Empoli and end on Sunday 30 in Torino against the Granata. In total, there will be five Serie A and three Champions League games:
WOMEN'S FIRST TEAM Coach Ganz's Rossonere have "only" the league to concentrate on as they look to continue their run of victories after beating Sassuolo and Parma in their last two games. October will start at home at Vismara against Sampdoria, with two big matches to follow: the derby with Inter and a home fixture with Juventus, ending the month with a trip to Pomigliano.
PRIMAVERA The Under-19 side have a particularly busy period, with games every weekend and midweek for the whole month. It's a schedule without a break that sees the team compete on three fronts: the League, Youth League and Coppa Italia. In Europe, they will be looking to hold onto top spot, while hoping in the TIM Primavera 1 to carry on where they left off after a 2-0 win over Cagliari last time out. They are back in action tomorrow, Sunday 2 October, against Bologna.
