NYCFC Sign HomeGrown Attacker In Zidane Yanes

NYCFC have signed their next HomeGrown in club history, 15 year old Zidane Yanes. The young attacker looks to be a striker at this point in his career and has played a ton with NYCFC’s academy side in MLS Next. The forward has been capped at the youth international level for two different countries at this point; Chile and Puerto Rico. Outside of his appearances for the Chile and Puerto Rico U15 squads, Yanes has been on the radar of the U.S. U16 side as well. In three games for Chile’s U15 squad, Yanes has one goal. He also scored another youth international goal for Puerto Rico’s U15 side where he has four total appearances. I definitely expect to see the youngster representing NYCFC II in MLS Next Pro in 2024.
