Nuri Şahin leaves Dortmund to join Werder Bremen

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed that Nuri Şahin has left the club to sign for Werder Bremen.

The Germany international resigned for the Bundesliga giants in 2014 but has found first team minutes hard to come by.

And with the arrivals of Axel Witsel and Thomas Delaney, has been deemed surplus to requirements.

In a video on Twitter, Dortmund waved goodbye to the midfielder with Werder then confirming he would wear their No.17 shirt.
