Harry Kane was nowhere to be seen as Tottenham played out a 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

Kane, who has scored 221 goals for Spurs, failed to turn up to training this week as he pushes for an exit from his boyhood club.

The Blues went ahead against their Premier League rivals through Hakim Ziyech, with the Moroccan making it 2-0 just after half-time.

But Spurs fought their way back into the game.

Lucas Moura pegged one back after 59 minutes before Steven Bergwijn levelled the scores.

Both managers named strong sides as they prepare for the Premier League opening weekend in less than a fortnight's time.

Goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini was handed his first appearance for Spurs after his loan move from Atalanta.

It remains to be seen if Kane will return to Spurs. Manchester City want to sign the England captain but they won't meet Daniel Levy's demands of £160m.

Reports have claimed Kane is in Florida, but Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo refused to be drawn on the speculation.

"I really expect to speak with Harry. I haven't had the chance yet," said Nuno.

"We should discuss it internally, try to avoid any public argument or discussion about it."

Asked where Kane was and when he would return, Nuno said: "I will not speak with you about that.

"Anything in relation to Harry is internal. First of all we need to sort the problems ourselves."
