“The four South American players are travelling now and will join us tomorrow so we’ll see then.

“Steven Bergwijn joined us yesterday and is totally integrated. He did well, has no pain and now it’s about getting back to his highest fitness levels. I don’t know if Newcastle is too soon. We’ll see.

“With other injuries, there are always problems after international breaks. We have them but I won’t talk about them before the game.”

“It’s normal and I’m sure Harry is used to it but we’re calm because we know he brings more than goals.

“We know what he does for the team. He’s a fantastic player, one of the best and naturally, we know the goals will come.”

On Newcastle takeover

“I have enough things to think about honestly.”
