Nuno Mendes returns to training following 9-month injury | OneFootball

Nuno Mendes (21) has made a vital step in his final recovery from an injury that has kept the fullback out of the Paris Saint-Germain side since the 30th of April 2023.

The Portuguese international suffered a serious hamstring injury during a defeat to FC Lorient last season, and following surgery in September, the fullback now looks to be closer to a full return to the field for Les Parisiens.

In an update provided by PSG Inside, Mendes was photographed in training with the first-team squad, which ended a nine-month absence. The fullback was able to complete part of the training with his team, which was a promising sign for a player who has experienced such a devastating setback.

The date for his final recovery has still not been revealed, but previous reports were hopeful that the player would be back playing for the main team in February at the earliest.
