Newcastle have enjoyed quite a rise this season and Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo now believes the Magpies are at a similar level as his side.

Steve Bruce’s side has accomplished very favourable results this season while making fantastic moves in the summer window, which has Nuno convinced they have risen to another tier this season.

“It is very early in the competition to establish any kind of difference between teams,” he explained in his pre-match press conference.

“I think every team is improving, every team is taking time and needs time, so as the competition goes by, it will be much harder, because the standards will grow.

“Newcastle has a good manager in Steve Bruce, I know him well, and he has quality players, talented players, and it’s going to be a very tough, he added.

“They are a very tough opponent, and all the matches we’ve had against Newcastle were very competitive, very intense, and we expect the same for Sunday.

“Newcastle, are a very good team with very good players.”

Despite their fantastic start to the season, Newcastle are currently in a log-jam in the middle of the Premier League table in 13th place.
