Nuno Espirito Santo could still leave Nottingham Forest after ensuring Premier League survival for the club, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 50-year-old took charge of Forest in December after the club decided to sack Steve Cooper, the man who got them promoted to the Premier League in 2022.

Despite getting a points deduction for breaking PSR regulations, the club managed to stay on in the top flight of English football for at least one more season.

However, Nuno’s future at the club is still in the balance despite Nottingham Forest avoiding relegation.

He will soon meet the Nottingham Forest hierarchy and hold talks over his future at the City Ground.

Nuno is likely to seek assurances over recruitment this summer amidst Nottingham Forest’s struggles to adhere to the Premier League’s PSR regulations.

Depending upon how the talks go and views from both parties, Nuno could potentially leave Nottingham Forest this summer.
