According to Foot Mercato Dijon have reached an agreement in principle with Nottingham Forest for the arrival of Portuguese right-winger Alexandre Nascimento da Costa Silva (25) – who must now pass a medical at the club before committing to a three-year deal at the club.

The former West Ham, Sporting Lisbon, and Aris Salonika man brings a wealth of experience to the Ligue 1 side, and has the versatility to play anywhere across the front three – predominately playing as a right winger. Silva racked up 80 appearances in Portugal before his move to Premier League side West Ham United where he only featured sparingly. However, the player somewhat was involved in Nottingham Forest’s promotion last season – making 11 appearances off the bench.

Xande Silva was targeted by Dijon to strengthen their attack and is set to join Omar Daf’s side Ligue 2 side, who ran out 2-1 winners against Saint-Étienne yesterday. A deal in principle has been reached between Nottingham Forest and the DFCO in the last few hours for the arrival of the Portuguese winger next week.
